lil rant on empires smp even tho nobody cares (spoiler warning)
season 1 > season 2, all the way. dont get me wrong, I still liked season 2, but not as much as season 1, i think what happend was in season one, there was way more events with everyone involved, and they more focused on the main story than their own. in season 2, however, they had less events when they were all together, it really made me feel like they strayed far away from empires, and more into somthing like DnD, which was the intention according to Fwhip. They had a cool thing going at first with the ender dragon being killed before they arrived, but after that was over, the only other events thst involved everyone in the server was the crown being found and the festival. another thing, if the crown returned why cant xornoth return? he was such a good antagonist and yet there wasnt an antagonist this season that tied everyone together. it has been said that esmp s3 *might* not be happening, which i think is a good thing, if the people involved dont want a season 3, then so be it. also i feel like esmp as a whole should have only been one season, and maybe some spin-offs. if there is season 3, i hope they have more interactions as a server and somthing that can tie very different storys together.
