I've lived with cats to this day and I still don't know everything about cats

i think some cats that are old or not really playful dont have their instincts activated when petted but im not sure

i did some research an apparently if you pet them they sometimes have their instincts activated (which makes them bite you for no reason)

It just feels weird because my favorite cat never bites me. But yes this going to be normal with this stupid black cat
