there is a new act started last year the are taking to court monday or Tuesday next week it is called kosa it's supposed to be a safety act for kids online.

However kosa will force your parents to watch everything you do on your phone/tablet/computer etc. They will censor what you watch and what you have access to online you must be 18 for everything for simply being online. This is a danger to LGBTQ+ and kids like me who go to therapy without one of the parents knowing.

This is a huge privacy breach and outs danger to many children some who don't have good home lives could be highly affected by this.

These will be in most of the us.

One of the people working on this project are transphobic and homophobic. If you think about how the government has "helped kids" you will realize it's not the best as juvenile places and foster care is bad.

I recommend watching the TikTok and going to the link to stop this and sign the petition and call a senator there are scripts in the links to follow when you call you can also email.

Normally laws like these take a bit to get passed unfortunately I can not find any more information on the topic it seems there keeping us in the dark about it

Have to agree, kids gots to have their own privacy and I don't think the website allows kids to feel comfortable of their identity which could really lead to some mental health issues,
especially kids who have a rough home life and are not comfortable expressing themselves.

It got passed with committee I believe but they haven't gone to court yet I do believe I'll try to search more
