A little vent post about hair care

I am a bit upset at my mom.
The main reason is that she tries to force me to do women norms to appease her. One big example

My hair.
So a few months ago, for my birthday I wanted a uneven haircut. Now that school is starting. (Middle school) she's trying to get me to make my hair even to appease her. Then shaving. Why shaving? Well, shaving hurts. I don't want to risk being cut. But my mom is so used to me shaving. So she said "it's a hygiene thing" no, it's not. It's just hair. So I confronted that and said "what does hygiene have to do with hair" then she turned it and said "It's a women Norms"
Where does Hygiene and norms take place together?
I mean on hair and looks.
I can understand teeth care, shampoo ect..
But shaving? Really? Then she threatened to throw away my favorite pants. So I did what she asked and shaved. The reason was I am going to a Amusement park.
