attention all authors/creative writers

I need some help with some stuff
I'm having trouble getting motivation to finish stories.
I'm unhappy with my lack of description (mainly towards the surroundings)
And I need basic advice for just writing in general

I usually write for fun but I'd like to learn more about this art form and create somthing I'm proud of

if you're able to leave advice I'd really appreciate it
