Back story.

Young Anthony Webb was obsessed with insects , in school he would love to pick up a rock and just watch all the bugs run around and do nothing .
He did this until high school and lived a happy life UNTIL one awful day a kid accidentally stepped on an ant Anthony was hanging out with , enraged Anthony beat the living shit out of this kid and got suspended, Later he realised he can’t just beat people up , so he decided to protected the small bugs of his town and became the insect.
