I FEEL LIKE MY SISTER IS BECOMING DEAF?!????

let's say the tv is on and my mom calls her, she's not gonna hear her because the tv is on right? But this one time the tv wasn't even on and my mom called her name out LOUDLY and she didn't hear her name being called. HELP?!??????!!
