Well that's not completely correct : only some of the Vocaloid are made by Crypton. They're also the ones that appear in the Project Diva games etc, so basically : Miku, Rin, Len, Luka, MEIKO and KAITO.
As Vocaloid is a software, there are many other Vocaloid (like vflower for example) which aren't from Crypton. 🙂
explaination: Kasane Teto isn't a Vocaloid, as Vocaloids are offical and made by Crypton Future Media, Teto is a UTAUloid, which are fan-made. She also got a SynthV voicebank, and even if SynthV was developed by TWINDRILL with administrative assistance from Crypton Future Media, Teto still isn't considered a "Vocaloid."
