idk how yo help my dog

I adopted him after he was severely abused by 2 past owners and now he's the most aggressive dog I've ever owned, he bites, barks and is very aggressive towards anyone, he's bit me so many times as well as my brother, his gf and her dogs, he's attacked our other dogs multiple times over toys, food, anything but mainly toys, we've tried positive reinforcement, putting him in his room after he attacks as punishment and shit, idrk what to do I'm so sick of him hurting me and the rest of the house
