Basically my advice to my older brother when he's having relationship problems:

"You absolute fucking imbecile. In this life, you can't trust anyone no matter how much you think you know them. Not even yourself or else you WILL be broken and made a fool, either by yourself or someone you thought you loved. There is no such thing as a happily ever after because all good things come to an end. Relationships, on the other hand, come crashing down into disaster. All of them have flaws. There's no such thing as a perfect life or anything. No perfect relationships either. So it's best to stay out of them. Whether online or irl, if you're sensitive and you know you can't handle betrayal"
