Wanting a instrument that's over 1/2 your height is weird

But hey! It's either: have my dad mad at me even after death for not learning the Guitarrón so I can play at his funeral or feel like I'm slowly getting smaller and smaller as I already feel a dread about my life.
Also I'm 5'6'' and 3/4 w/o shoes and 5'7'' (just bearly) w/ shoes
