Sleep tips
1. Refrain from playing any games or looking at any screens or doing anything that stimulates ur brain
2. Don’t exercise before sleeping, u may think that it will tire u out an make u sleepy but the adrenaline will only make u more awake( exercise around 2 hrs before sleeping)
3. Don’t drink liquids before sleeping, this will maintain water balance and not disrupt sleep at night, if u do drink water drink it lukewarm, it removes toxins naturally from the body
4. Take warm showers, ur body needs to drop its temp by 2 degrees to fall asleep, warm shower means hotter than ur room temp so that when u leave the shower ur body temp will drop
Lil explanation:
Water balance essentially means keeping the amount of water in ur body balanced, too little u can dehydrate and die, too much ur cells swells and can burst, if this happens in the brain it can cause confusion, comas, seizures and even death of course this wont happen from just one night of drinking too much, but this can disrupt ur sleep bcus ur kidneys need to remove water in order to maintain homeostasis and water balance
