so the series based around Harrington Labs discovered some strange meat like anomalies on the moon’s surface, samples were taken and put into test tubes, this meat can grow like fungus. it begins to slowly root its way out of the tube, lab personnel are attempting to neutralize it but instead it engulfed them. it then uses the nutrients from the body’s to grow larger, it’s like it’s using humans as soil to grow using its own bodily fluids and nutrients as water, it’s like a plant. once one of these meat clumps will grow small nodes on its surface, the nodes will hatch and go on as a separate entity. and they keep them in containment cells, it’s kinda like S-C-P
