Is just me or am I also seeing checkmarks near people’s username?

What do they mean like verified or something? In AnimeMaker especially 💀 why the hell do we need check marks what do they do ? I literally have no idea what they do like why did you add check marks instead of literally something else like new drawing features or fixing the glitches that are cause everybody to get kicked out, why checkmarks 😭
