I think homework is a bad idea

Yes, I understand it helps learning, however
School alone is 6-8 hours, and is exhausting enough as is,
And they make you go home and force you to do more work, even though hometime is supposed to be for leisure,
And the homework exhausts one even more,
And they punish you for not doing it,
And they expect you to be as, if not more, functional than the day before, despite homework
So
