being able to legalize banning of social media platforms by technicallity gives the government the right to ban any other app that platforms free speech and I hate to be the "libertarian cappie" who "sides with china for economical reasons" but i sure do love having my rights as an american

also its so fucking stupid that one clip of this weirdo asking the tiktok CEO if he's part of the CCP and the tiktok CEO keeps sayinf No but that guy keeps going on and on, who's really brain dead in this situation LOL

you can't say tiktok is bad without acknowledging that every social media platform is fucking awful and stupid you all are trapped in your echochambers and the only way to get out is to look at every prospective and honestly if i had to be locked in a room i would choose tiktokers because no matter how awful they are i will never stand in the same room as the instagram comment section but nobody's asking to ban instagram like tiktok LMAO
