I have a theory!

So yk how the algebralians refer to each other as if they have genders but are mostly actually non binary? What if whatever is in charge of the education playground tried to strip all variations between all the algebralians away so they would only have math be there defining trait? This is backed up by in TPOT two saying he doesn't truly know what he wants and that he doesn't like math, but hey that's just a theory A BFDI THEORY!!
