born to be lazy forced to be an academic genius

full on bragging i've been told by too many teachers that I would've been an academic genuis if i genuinely tried; but the biggest factor is that I have no drive to become one in the first place

without trying I barely manage with a C average, but at my peak I have easily gotted A+ average

idk. ever since middle school i just no longer want to do academics. maybe it really is GT burnout, but I just either dont feel entertained enough to bother anymore or it's not the right challenge

my counselors noticed this and realize that if i simply dislike/aren't interested in the class i will not do any work and it genuinely tanks my grades but at the same time i just dont see a reason to do thinks j dont like
