A story I made a long while ago

I gave up on it cause i forgot abt it but like whenever people would get murdered in this universe they became like these shadow demons that are violent randomly towards anything as they can’t remember who or what had killed them
Usually they loom around forests, wherever they were killed, or wherever their body was left
Because they cant tell who killed them they arent of any value to the police, but when their case is solved they pass on usually

The shadow demon boy i made has no name so i just called him Calvert
It made sense so why not
His human name was not calvert but i didnt think of what it was BUT BASICALLY
A fight broke out between humans and interspecies humans and animals causing they to stay separated from each-others societies, a little homeless inter species dragon probably about age 400 (4 years old) that was being chased by a mob of humans, they were going to kill him even though he was young and didnt know
Calvert ended up attacking the mob and saving the little interspecies dragon after that staying by his side as his protector, it was a weird relationship as shadow demons normally attack everything but for some reason he didnt attack the lil dragon (they do attack children and infants)
