Saved 3 lives today
I donated a pint of my own blood about 12 hours ago at 9:45 at the blood drive at my high school in a camper owned by Red Cross, and I’m also waiting to get my blood type results.
1st hour, the process went well. I received a shirt for donating my blood. I was not able to just run with out fatiguing very easily, and I drank my entire 124 oz water bottle when I got done, and I also tried to avoid carrying my backpack around, had someone walk me to my 4th period, but it was successful.
Hour 5: I was feeling just fine like I was before my appointment, but I was still trying to be careful not to use my blood too much
Hour 12: I feel like a donor, knowing I basically saved 3 lives because of what I did
I’ll update this if I get anymore side affects tomorrow
