World war 1 chapter 1 part 2 ,, August 1st 1914 , second Battle

German soldier notes ,,,The war was scary we charged the enemy area with machine guns and artillery they fired theirs back it was a bloody warfare most of us didn't really made it out of the no man's land I stayed behind most of the time until I got hit by a shell we were forced to charge forward or we'll get shot by our committing officer we sprayed gas on the most of the time at a fire there's back the war was crazy they won the first victory and we won our second victory

The British is now helping out The Fringe which makes it even worse the Russians are a direct war on us as well we have troops fighting up there in the North and South and West in eastern parts this battle is the most bloodiest battle ever lots of casualties on both sides small towns and cities full of civilians are being blown apart I never wanted to be a part of this war, I write a note to my loved ones I miss my family don't worry I will come home hopefully if this war ever ends end of log number two
