Constructive Criticism // Rating my own Art style
Aside from the fact I always say I draw like shit I donโt necessarily hate my art style
I can draw more then stick people but like- so?
Now a lot of my drawings I like to color and thats js because the color distracts me from how bad I think the line art is
When I draw lil shitposts without color theres really only like a handful I like
And as Ive said in the past I normally just dont give two shits and post whatever I think is postable
But when it comes down to it Im gonna take in like account of
-Coloring
-shaky lines
-anatomy / anatomy fluctuating
- thought / effort
- subject and general Idea
-following through
When it comes to coloring I really only take time or do that when Im doing challenges, fanart or dtiys
I could stand to do it more but when I do do it I think im pretty okay with it 6/10
Shaky lines, I kinda draw shaky in general but most of my works and even shit posts donโt have to bad of shaky lines and when they do its js cause Improbably rushed it
I think I do a good job keeping that stuff out 9/10
Anatomy is something I really struggle with not just because of like hands and shit but like feet and stuff
I do use references for it sometimes but a good chunk of my posts also are js drawing however I think anatomy works which is usually a little bit of a stretch or smth but most ppl are like
Yer dats good shit- 7/10 I think Im alright with making it look like ik anatomy (somewhat)
Again thought and effort is just something I randomly have
Even when Iโm doing fanart sometimes ill js be like
Fuck it fuck it im doin this the ez way
4/10 ๐ i uh, do use thought and effort but it dies normally around the coloring part of the drawing and shit posts rarely have effort
I usually give myself a subject to do when Iโm drawing smth- like when I drew mystic I tried to draw them in like smth similar to the end
I think I do okay at sticking to my self prompts 10/10
Following through is something that fluctuates with my motivation
And I do struggle with it very bad art wise
Like speaking wise i gotchu Ill be there
But like
I still have a long Fanart list that i need to do ๐ญ
That i dont have the motivation for
5/10 it really just depends on my motivation
In total I think itโs fair to give myself a 8/10 rating
Maybe 7.5 out of 10 rating cause Im on some dumb shit a lot of the time
Somewhere in the range
I consider my art to be okay at times and not okay at other times
But thats js my self reflection
