Alice / Dark Smile’s backstory

She was created by zalgo in the 18th century. Given to a human couple who sold their souls to zalgo so he could give them a child, she was disguised as a human with light features and dark brown hair. The couple loved her dearly and named her Alice. Alice knew what she really was. A demon. One of the darkness and all unholy but she didn’t care. She wasn’t hated by anyone, in fact, everyone in her village loved her. She was a pretty little girl who always had the biggest smile and her hair in a tight braid.
She had a best friend named Charolette. She wasn’t as pretty as Alice and wasn’t as liked due to her green eyes and red hair, but to Alice she was the prettiest angel in the world. They grew up together, did everything together and even developed feelings for each other. Feelings that would have them hanged.
They confessed their love for each other when they turned 18. Keeping their love a secret and meeting at night to be with each other in secret. Only a few months in, they were told they’d be wed off to the town masters sons. Realizing this would ruin their relationship, they vowed to run away together. That night as they were gonna leave, Alice told Charolette what she really was, not knowing the son she was to be wed to, was there. He ran back to the village and spread the news that the two abominations were a demon and a witch.
It didn’t take long for the men to catch them and drag them back. Alice frantically tried to save Charolette, not knowing how to use her powers yet but she still ended up watching them hang her lover. Staring in shock and horror at Charolettes limp body hanging from that rope, her green eyes still open and dulled over showing no life, Alice flew into a pit of rage and showed her true form, a 8 foot tall dark skinned demon, horns like a goat, the hooves of a horse and the blood red eyes of the devil. She tried to kill them but they kept jabbing her with their pitch forks, digging into her flesh. Her only thought was to get to Charolettes body but she was only met with jabs and crosses burned into her sides and legs. Finally, she ran. Crying and stumbling as the village chased her away. After losing them, that’s when her actual father made his appearance. Taking her back to where she belonged. It was a few centuries later that she met jay. She’s never opened up to another relationship, not wanting to replace the love of her life. She sometimes sneaks off to go to the tree where they hung her love. It still stands to this day, as if taunting her. She has no idea where Charolette is and she’s been searching for her all this time. That’s why she’s no longer attached to Jay like she used to be.
