Janeth Story, chapter 3 " testing week" English

Two days after taking the last participants, 'The hunt for humans' tournament began, representative John Gein came out to give a message to the television stations, people cheered him, he was a well-known person in the media, he gave a speech and explained the testing week.
Each day there will be a testing area of ​​different categories, to classify the participants depending on their ability, if they failed..., they would be tortured before the end of the day.
Monday will be an agility test, the next day was a speed test, then strength, physical endurance and finally, on Friday a jumping test.
Gein wished the participants luck and the torture began.
It started on Monday with skill rooms, places where you couldn't get out without climbing walls, with launches and having to avoid traps, many failed the first one, Janeth couldn't with the fourth, at the end, few arrived without problem and they were taken to each one to a room among many that were in a building, the others took them to the torture, they electrocuted them and beat them for hours, Janeth couldn't handle so much pain, she couldn't even get up when they finished and they had to go take refuge in where they could that night.
The next day the speed test continued, Janeth couldn't run that much, she got tired quickly, it was almost a long corridor like a marathon, she couldn't keep up, until someone else pushed her and she fell silent, unable to continue, the guards were going to shoot her if she didn't move, then Carlos came to pick her up and helped her get to a pause area at least.
The guards at the pause zone told him that he couldn't take her any longer, otherwise they would kill him for helping someone else. That's when Janeth realized it was Carlos, she was dizzy and couldn't see well, until she saw his face, and wanted to tell him something but she couldn't speak, they forced Carlos to leave her and Janeth was left alone again.
