'It shows up every october night to sneak up into houses of asleep people and steal random items and store it in their bags, to bring to their dens or scatter it around roads, towns, etc.

They mostly do it for fun and when enough playing with the items, it will return them to their original place like nothing ever happened, but some Pump-kins take it a step further and adorn their dens with said items.'

'I got robbed by one once and i found my shitsock lying around near this guy's den. It smelled so bad i had to pick it up with a pair of tweezers and cover my nose while retrieving it.'
