snowleeches only appear in the era of ice to feed on snow to hydrate themselves for next spring, where the females may hibernate, they mostly go outside to feed on the snow and they lay eggs through the summer. They mostly group up to eat the snow, and they are very vulnerable when outside and may risk being devoured by a leechbird or skryder.
