The small "North American Ear wig" ( auris sanguis potator ).

I made this as a spin of the earwig who is rumored to crawl in peoples ears, which is untrue.
This is a small insect, related to the common tick that resides in the north americas.
It usually resides in damp areas, but instead of sucking blood- it eats earwax.
It usually goes for other animals that sleep in grassy and damp areas, but in some cases humans have had this stumble in their ear, and it had to be painfully removed.
This is because it has barbs on its feet to stay anchored, but numbs the ear as to not be detected.
Only when ripped out this can cause pain, as it will drag parts of the ear, ( skin etc ) with it.
It has a pincher to chew up the earwax into a fine paste, and slurps it up with a straw like mouth.
