Black had made a potion to make everyone goninsane and he tested it on himself by drinking it causing an addiction to sugar.He took wendas sugar then bit her causing her to gominsane also,basically they were biting sprunki's Jevin managed to grab pinki,funbot and grey keeping them safe in blacks basement.They wore things to trick the infected into thinking they are also infected,They can only hope to find a cure for now..
