Usually I’m scared to talk to anyone older than 15 bc well…Im 12. I don’t have a problem talking to people older than me, but there have been multiple times when people just stop talking to me after they find out my age, and i dont want to make anyone uncomfortable. So generally i try not to talk to people 16+. Even on am, I don’t feel like I should befriend anyone much older than me, but it makes me happy how 17 and 18 year olds aren’t just like avoiding me and they don’t seem to have a problem interacting with my account (I mean we’re not besties tho duh).

Yeah. My mom is scared of pedophiles and my brother just generally doesn’t like it for whatever reason, but now it’s in my head that I just shouldn’t be friends with older people.

Lol I kinda feel you, oftentimes my family tells me not to be friends with older people which is probably also getting in my head. But that’s cool

When I was 12 no one cared about my age, older folks. were shocked by me being 12 tho when I told them but still were my friend
