Cj has feelings for ruby. I say this cuz FIRST OF ALL itd be kinda weird if someone who only felt platonically about someone, offered to carry them bridal style (“want me to carry you just like they do?”). Also, in the rebooted version, cj helps ruby with her LOVE SONG, like he wants her to sing it to him lol, and keeps putting emphasis on how it’s “just for your boyfriend!” Like he’s trying to cover up his reason for doing it.
HOWEVER… ruby has never liked him back, she’s shy around him sure but she’s shy around everyone he’s no different. She declines being carried bridal style and just generally seems happy with mark.
You might be thinking, “But isn’t cj dating vade?” Well…how do I put this, vade is a huge flirt, if not borderline a slut. I think cj was trying to get over ruby or something like that since he realizes she doesn’t like him back, so he just found someone easy to win over, but i dont think there’s any true feeling. Sure maybe he thinks she’s hot but I think he still likes ruby.
