Science Fact: Mendel's Experiment
A scientist named Mendel wanted to test how traits are pasted down. He isolated two flowers, which were white and purple. The flowers that resulted from the first gen were 4 purple flowers. After that, he isolated two of the second gen flowers and those flowers made 3 purple flowers and 1 white flower. From this, he concluded that the white flower's trait didn't disappear, it was just hidden for one generation. The purple was a dominant trait and the white was a recessive trait. If two flowers have the same recessive trait, then there is a 1/4 chance that one of the offsprings has that trait. This is Mendel's experiment and I recently learnt it in Science class. I didn't go to school today bc I drove to Vegas for my Aunt's wedding but if you want to know more, you can search for Mendels Experiment. Btw, I did this from memory so it may not be 100% true.
