love my beautiful christian life

sometimes it's hard to eat anything on fridays because most of my family isn't catholic anymore, or well, not taking it as seriously as i have. My mom and I are the only ones who continue to practice, but she's more casual than I am... so, I'm the only one abstaining from meat on fridays.
I'm still thinking about the penance i've recieved from a priest and his words to me about how god knows it was the perfect time for me to confess my sins and my life feels a little better, and other christians have went up to me to tell me that god still loves me despite the sinner i am, and it makes every friendship i make a little sweeter. Even if we're from different denominations, even if they don't feel catholic guilt, even if they don't do confession, i'm very glad to have lots of christian friends irl
