Problematic

sometimes there are tropes in fiction i like and i have to clarify that i either like the "tame down version" or that i like certain tropes because it reflects the "ugly" parts of my life. Even for that, i wouldn't say I "like" it, i just find comfort in these tropes.

there are a lot of things i like but i just can't say it without looking like a freak because in most contexts it's degenerate. that or it's "morally wrong"

i feel like you can look at media and go "yeah, that's fucked up." but still appreciate the idea of it, you know? the world isn't nice and kind, and i think problematic media *should* still exist because we shouldn't pretend the world is kind.

proship/antiship and all that stuff is honestly frustrating. i have extreme opinions on both opinions, just think it's all stupid. proshippers glorifies the horrors of the world while antishippers want to censor it.

consider myself antiship but it's all stupid and both sides have opinions on me. all of it is stupid
