i definitely want to play into the fact that carrot isn't a human, so this woukd definitely be in the game if i'm bothered enough to develop it.

i also think that everyone in playdate is genuinely deranged except for carrot and he's the only actual reasonable and normal character in the game. Otherwise Mint, Minh, and Pepper are insane.. even if carrot seems excentric and "obsessive" he's genuinely normal compared to the other 3 (and he kinda does just play into a certain character trope, he's self aware)

pepper is also a bit of a push over

oh and yeah i did say no canon genders in playdate thats explicitly in the notes no matter what i say, gender is not canon and it's up to the player to decide but

mint - she/her (male aligned)
pepper - she/they (female aligned)
carrot - he/him (female aligned)
