I just draw sausages
And add nails

Cuz
If you look at your fingers you can see that they are all made up of like 3 squares apart from the thumb (2)
Then the base of your hand is made up of one large square
I suggest when drawing leaving space from where the base of the hand and the fingers to get the right proportions
But thats the way that helps me
