I just BARELY got myself out of a massive argument at school

Story:
So basically me and my friend were on our way to class, and we were jokingly insulting eachother
Then I said something that she took the complete wrong way so she grabbed my bag and threw me onto the floor
I thought we were still joking though so I kept laughing and she got mad at that yet again
Then we kept walking together after that but in silence
I tried to say something but she got pissed again
And I was eating custard while this happened so guess what
She grabbed it and splashed the rest on me (it got on my hair, face, arms, clothes etc)
Then I just walked to the bathroom in silence to clean it up
I didn't attack her or anything I just went
She followed me so I decided to confront her about what she did then she said 'well you said [insult about her girlfriend]' but the thing is I DIDN'T, that's just the way she interpreted it
We went back and forth for like 10 seconds then I eventually snapped then said 'shut up, this shit isn't funny'
GASP
AND THEEN we walked together to the bathroom in silence again, but she stole the only available stall
I eventually found out that she was messaging her girlfriend about this incident
And guys. Her girlfriend is literally one of the most popular people in our year/grade.
So she was messaging HER about our unintentional argument and what I SUPPOSEDLY said about her.
Well isn't that great I'm getting blamed for something I DID NOT SAY
By the time she left class was about to start and she sped away (yes, I waited for her the whole time because I'm a good friend) so I couldn't talk to her

So class started right, it was Geography
Coincidentally the class I sit right next to her in
I thought maybe I could talk it out with her during the lesson, but first I just had to cry my eyes out cause of what happened because uhhhhh you know flip my life
So I did in the sped room lmao cuz it was close to my classroom
After that I arrived late to Geography ❤️❤️
GUESS WHAT
SHE, HER GIRLFRIEND AND HER FRIENDS WERE TALKING ABOUT ME but when they saw me with puffy eyes and face redder than a freaking streetlight they stopped
I just sat down and gave her a second

Then I started to mess around with her (she has this thing where she can't be mad at me forever since I act so stupidly funny) and we made up after

When the lesson ended I saw her delete a few unseen messages on her phone to her girlfriend, all I could read was 'I'm about to cry rn because of-'

So uh guess I dodged that bullet
