I used to be one and for me it was like I thought they were weak or lesser because they expressed themselves in colorful ways, and such
Something about that really irritated me in a way I found hard to deal with so I spread intense hatred towards them
I genuinely viewed them as unworthy of the skin they were born in(something I actually said) and as lesser and undeserving of rights
After about 2 years though i started to calm down
Now, many of my friends are furries.
I'm not a furry, but I've gained a respect towards their creativity and general passiveness
