The Dimentional Department of Dimensional Anomalies (DDDA) has reported:

Lime-green blood splatters are scattered throughout the investigation area (Keyname AREA 15). They are safe to touch, yet they are under investigation to see if the blood is dangerous to wild animals. Experimentation is still in progress.

The blood has recently been spreading and seems to cover the whole place, despite it being blood, it doesn't contain iron and instead is mostly an extraterrestrial chemical compound nicknamed "Xander", which after further inspection can also be used to make a bittersweet tea-like concoction that is drinkable and highly reccomended by the locals. The "tea" is named Xandrium Juice and is lime green in coloring, which explains the blood's lime green tint.
