always another day, i won't tell people on main about having npd because every other person with npd i see has to deal with people assuming the worst.

it looks so stressful, people assuming the worst of npd because it's one of the "evil" cluster b disorders. they love fetishizing bpd, hpd, but npd & aspd are the evil ones.

? it bugs me especially when people use the word narcissist without understanding the weight of it. okay, call your actions narcissistic but you do realize there's more to npd than just "being self centered" and "having large self esteem" right?

it's annoying, especially seeing some people throw that word around when it dictates my life. im so fucking evil and narcissistic, and i'm going to manipulate you because i'm selfish and deserve everything.

in general you all see people with mental disorders a specific way and you all piss me off. (Insert symptom list of mental disorder) wow yeah that's so awful, i never knew mental illness ruins your life are you all fucking daft

I was so nervous before starting college, since I had to rebuild most of my foundation again. but as I'm trying to improve my behavior, I've been open regarding the fact that I don't care for people and it's kinda improved a lot of my friendships. A lot of my friends understand me, and it's really great... and even though I do have to "pretend" to care emotionally still, they appreciate the fact I'm trying to be around (even if I still lack "comfort")

being told by other people that they really appreciate that I'm trying to be upfront with how I think, since for the whole entire time I have built walls around myself to project a certain image. I'm a little glad that despite my lack of "empathy" and care for everything, I am still someone people prefer to be around
