Now this is a little bit of a controversial opinion but, I dont think it’s all that unfair :3 you either gotta have good art or a good personality or both to get on trend, which means you get the attention you deserve. It makes sense to me that people with mid/bad art or mid personality won’t get on trend. You dont even have to be a prodigy. My art isn’t good and I get on trend when I put effort into a drawing.

I think most people can agree that the main page drawings and animations are AMAZING. Tbh its crazy how a lot of those posts are from 8-11 years ago. And yea you do gotta be dedicated to get onto the trending page most of the time which i personally feel is a little unfair because there are a lot of people on the app that deserve a lot more attention. But ig you gotta be socially active to get a lot of views. Or just a prodigy like Narancia or Hiroko. Also dayum i didnt know you were New-Gen OG. Ive been in the app since 2021. My main acount was just called Versity

Ohh so u meant the WHOLE trending page not just the main page. Well yes, more well known people do tend to get on there, but for the MAIN page it’s like I said more about how much people liked the drawing (which is if there’s detail/it looks good). Ik jevil I’ve been here since 2020 lol. Buuut yeah more popular people do get more attention. When I first made this new acc no one talked to me even if I posted good art, you have to be dedicated to get popular, so I got to know people and boom, all my posts get 20 views or more.

Not even necessarily that. I can bet that your Minecraft Movie post will get on trending and we can both agree that you didnt put as much effort or detail into that post as you would normally (take it from me your a very talented artist)
And that already has over 20 views and a couple of likes. There used to be a user called Jevil (he was canceled bc he was a groomer) who all of his posts got on to trending and they werent detailed. But i can agree with you in some aspects. There are some artists on this app that are VERY talented and do get on to the trending page. Its more or less a hit or miss
