- all hoang hair styles change frequently, usually based on what my irl hair is...
- only good way to tell them apart is through how they act 💔
- as of 2025, mari variant has usually shorter hair and can either be middle part or have bangs
- xuan's hair is always waist length unless specified in specific AUs that his hair is different (ex; family & rockstar AU, hunger games AU pending)
- can switch out luka's glasses for sunglasses. Usually always drawn with some form of eyewear unless i'm lazy/certain luka variants don't wear eyewear often

- mari varients no longer wear blue glasses, instead having clip on ears to differentiate.
- mari ahoge. no more ahoge for mari
- MAJOR mari update regarding personality; despite mari being fairly "docile" compared to luka and xuan variants, mari is still unhinged (ex; 14dwy mari)
- xuan's main hairstyle having twin tails. He still has twin tails occasionally.
- luka's bear shirt, only mari gets to wear that one now
