I played volleyball today and scraped my toe

It was a public sand court and my toe got scraped on the base, foundation, whatever it’s called, beneath the sand
I can’t figure out how to get it over the net either, maybe it’s my height
On the bright side, I feel like a shounen anime protagonist and I had an idea for a volleyball story :3

The first time I played volley on sand I got courage to throw myself at the floor to get the ball, but my jawline didn't like the idea lol
