Death
You taunt the poor and destitiute
With layers upon layers of soot
I have failed in failing
For having to fail is due to trying
I never tried
So consume me,
Rupture my lungs,
Gag me with my own air,
This ritual is never fair,
Yet he carries it out daily without a care,
Paralysing fear which is forgotten in most,
Like a tumour it’s races through my cells,
Infecting my nature with intoxication,
Intoxicated with delusional highs,
I am who I swore to never be,
We are the kids our parents turned our backs to,
But he doesn’t discriminate,
He does not care he does this before the cremate,
U cannot flee,
Nor escape to countries unheard of,
He will meet you there needless of a dove ,
He will embrace you with bitter frost in the sizzling heat,
He will mark your body with deadly colours,
Which would have indicated disease,
There is no release
For,Every soul shall taste death.
So drop your materialistic weights,
And watch how he elegantly glides life out of your body dragging your pains through layers of dirt,
So now u have learnt,
Every memory you have burnt,
It will haunt u on ur beds,
It will free you by capturing you,
He will introduce u to regret,
And he will laugh jokingly,
For you did not do wat u were dreamed,
For you followed their speed,
For ur heart quit,
Now look at the slit,
This is a mere job,
So cut out the sobs,
Your tears are being wasted,
You’re next.
