I MADE LORE BECUASE NEW UPDATE IN DANDYS WORLD (and i made this for zozo :3 )
Alr, a few background details before i start: rodger and dyle are headcannoned brothers, charlie is rodger and dyles toon handler, and at the time that most of the lore happened was when all the toons were like 9-12 years old so at the time glisten is just rodgers platonic friend (yes theres slight reflective detective but nothing too….$3xy….) and seince rodger and dyle are brothers they share the same powers as a lethal twisted because of dyle. alr that should be all now too the actual lore thingie! >:3 ))) so basically, in the gardenveiw some toons were given certain jobs to maintain the gardenveiw and keep things running, example: cosmo and sprout make treats for the kids (and staff members for special occasion), the circus trio known as yatta, blot and looey are used for preforming circus acts, and scraps and goob have a special section where they can make crafts and teach kids how too make them. Rodger and dyles job was too research the failed experiments in the abandoned warehouse and do things like blood tests and gut flora examinations. Charlie which as you know is their toon handler, was put into special operations and training so that he could teach the two cartoony characters how to do so, one of the soon to be worst nightmare in the gardenveiw history, charlie went back upstairs to look for supplies in the supply closet, yes, usually it would take at least 30 minutes. But charlie was taking a little bit…too long…rodger and dyle were both still down there, so as the curious little brother that rodger was, he went back up as well hoping to find his chronological father, and oh did rodger find him. Charlies blood was splattered Everywhere and ichor was shoved down his throat, his organs were torn out and scattered everywhere and his skull was smashed to an unrecognizable level. Rodgers head was spinning at first and it took him minutes to process what was happening. (Btw rodger is like 9 years old rn and dyle is 12 just so you can get a grasp on the timeline lol) BUTT 🍑 he then saw the owner of the gardenveiw staring him right in the eyes with human blood on her jacket. There was a sort of reputation in her stare that looked like the devil was watching over rodger. “If you tell anyone about what you saw, youll end up like your friend over there.” She pointed with a blood soaked finger to the unrecognizable corpse behind rodgers shaking body. she then grabbed a tazer out of her pocket and threatenly gestured for rodger too follow her. Dyle had secretly been following them both and saw everything, dyle watched as rodger was thrown into a cage with the event toons, they wernt allowed to talk to eachother as said in dyles “gossip” dialogue. “Sometimes i like going on my own expeditions…but im not allowed to talk to rodger!” SEE??? The gardenveiw kept going like nothing happened, but one day, dalilah realized that dyle was now the only one that was researching and he wasnt able to do it on his own, sam who was sprouts handler had been holding onto a plushie that rodger used to have and asked if they could base the new toons design after the plushie, and so they did, they named Rodger’s replacement “toodles”. Dyle enjoyed the help that the little ball of energy gave him but he still missed the old way of doing research. One day, dandy went to the back of his shop where that one room in roleplay mode is with the red light and ichor with tapes everywhere, some very VERY stupid kid followed him and saw charlies dead body, dandy then realized that the kid was following him and turned into his twisted form, he attacked the very VERY stupid kid and the very VERY stupid kid died. Parents were furious and the gardenveiw shut down due to “malfunctions”. Dandy then started the ichor operation, he turned to the basement door knowing that he could bribe them to help him by letting them out. He remembered rodger, so he targeted him out of all of them knowing he would win this barter. What dandy didn’t realize is that dyle had already snuck into the basement and got his brother out the second he heard that the gardenveiw had shut down, PRIORITIES PEOPLE PRIORITIES!!!! and so after rodger had met his replacement, he warmed up to toodles knowing that she couldn’t fend for herself yet and started taking care of her hehe 😉, the rest of the toons had met the failed experiments known as twisteds.
