honestly i think all that art advice is stupid. "Chicken scratching is bad" "never shade in purple" "black airbrushing makes art bad" honestly if you just. know how to make art look good then nothing matters Like yeah i think certain things do need to be studied but only in the context that "you're respecting someone's culture" and that doesn't apply to style itself LOOOOL i talked ab this before about like, being pissed about someone drawing christian imagery wrong because the amount of beads on a rosary DOES mean something and someone who isn't christian was sayinf it was just art or smth Idk i deleted it because liek. Honestly some art styles just fit it, would i shade in purple all the time Hell no but back then it would make sense Ok. like. It's all subjective towards style so many of you think you "know everything about art" because people tell you that shading in purple is too easy and doesnt look nice :/ or that using an airbrush makes your art bad :/ or that chicken scratching hurts your line art and makes you unable to control your lines :/ honestly SHUT UPPPP if you know what you're doing then who cares.
