Am I manipulating?

Like I'm trying to find a way me and my dad can watch a show, and all the websites we've tried have been a fail due to the fact we're using an ad blocker just in case-
So I've been trying to find other ways as to how we can watch it, he hasn't actually told me that he doesn't want to watch it- I don't know, I found a way we can just now, but I don't want to seem like I'm forcing him into watching it, although I kind of do wish we could-

If he says he doesn't want to, than you don't.
But since he hasn't said so, no, you are not manipulating or forcing. That would imply knowing that he doesn't want to.
