72_2025 [Rant-ish?]

I don't like having opinions on this app but I feel inclined to because it is something I kind of 'started' and it is near and dear to me.
So. I honestly didn't think the whole 'kemono' thing would get so much traction... It startled me ... So I'm floundering.
I've seen a tiny bit of misinformation.. Mm.. I sound so nerdy but I've been into Kemono style furries for years so.. I think I'm allowed.
Kemono - Is 'Beast' in japanese. We call this style of furry a kemono because they often are beast-like.. With horns, big claws.. yadda yadda. The whole point is you can't really tell the species. (Should add it can just be a normal species like a bird or a cat)
And I'm going to be blunt. A kemono is a furry. I myself am a casual furry. Doesn't make you a furrry to enjoy them but maybe don't say.. you hate furries while still liking kemonos..? (Furries often use it as a creative outlet and even escapism, be nice and just tolerate it.. It's a bit hypocritical to say you hate furries while kemonos are branched from furry culture.)
Have fun by all means, I have no power given Kemonos are just an east-asian style of anthro characters. I just want to make things clear.
TLDR ; Kemono is a furry in an anime style

Thank you for clearing this up. Though I wasn't completely interested in making kemono's in specific (I just really like the art style and wanted a reff so I can maybe add some bits in to my style) I really enjoyed learning little tiny bit about theme. I might need to make one in specific at some point

TY SOBS I GET SCARED OF ADMITTED I AM ONE (well semi- since I don't draw them as much because of the discrimination due to zoophiles or other weirdos ruining the community) it just sucks as a whole tbh 😭🙏
