High above the clouds where no human has ever set foot lies the Gate of Heaven β a passage between the mortal world and the Realm of Light. No one knows what lies beyondβ¦ except for one being: the Golden Knight, child of light and eternal guardian of the gate.
He was once human β a commander who fought to save his people from the darkness. In the final battle, when the shadow demons invaded the cities, he fought with his twin swords until his very last breath. The sky turned to blood, the earth trembledβ¦ and in the moment of his death, the angels chose him.
His body was consumed by white and golden light. Wings of pure gold burst from his back, and a helmet sealed his face forever β for he was no longer human. He became the guardian between worlds.
At every dawn, when sunlight touches the clouds, he can be seen soaring above the gate. With each swing of his blades, light radiates outward, burning away the spirits of darkness. They say that if one day, someone from the mortal realm awakens the memory of his human heart, the gate will open once more β and the secret of heaven will be revealed to humankind.
But until that day, the Golden Knight flies in silence β faceless, nameless, yet with a heart that still beats deep within his armor.
