This is the first object per se that I’ve drawn in this style?? DEF the first background. Even though it’s SO simple it’s my fav part. I have WAY too many styles 😭😭

I don't have much experience in drawing real life or semi realistic portraits so I wouldn't know

The problem I find with rendering paper is it absorbs light which makes it harder to find the shadows. ESPECIALLY bc this the book being held is canonically moleskin.

In my eyes I think the shadows aren't defined enough and the colour of the light and shadows are too close to eachother
