If that were the case azure would've looked differently, and broken spawn would've hair, also the lore between the two are very different, spawn isnt in a cult, and he killed himself (in the bad ending of let him go) because fire ring (a close friend of his) ended off the friendship
And azure was sacrificed by two time against both of their wills to appease the spawn
